Appointments/Cancellations
A 24-hour advance notice is required to avoid late cancellation or missed appointment fees. You will be charged the full amount for the scheduled time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please let me know as soon as possible so that time is available to others. I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. I allow for one missed appointment for such occasions before before applying above referenced policy fees. However if you are feeling ill, including experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, this cancellation policy does not apply and you will not be charged. The exception would be if you do not show up for your appointment for whatever reason (including illness) and have not contacted me to cancel, you will be charged the full appointment rate.
As a courtesy, appointment reminders will be emailed or texted three days prior to your appointment date. However, if I am unable to reach you, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time to avoid late arrival, missed appointment or cancellation fees.
Late Arrivals
Appointment times are as scheduled, and cannot be extended beyond the stated end time to accommodate late arrivals. The session will be shortened, and you will be charged the full amount of the scheduled time.
Sickness
Massage is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. If you have any signs of respiratory disease (including but not limited to fever, chills, cough, sore throat, runny nose, stuffy nose), signs of seasonal allergies or signs of gastrointestinal disease (including but not limited to vomiting or diarrhea), please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of any of these conditions. Our office sees a high volume of immune compromised individuals and we want to be as careful as possible to mitigate any unnecessary exposure.
Payment
Payment is due at the time service is rendered. Cash, checks, debit and credit cards are accepted. This office is unable to process insurance claims.
FSA/HSA
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) cards are accepted. It is your responsibility to determine if therapeutic massage is covered by your plan.
